As Madini provides for its children through education scholarships and other programs, we seek to help the parents/guardians and our older students become more economically independent.

This is made possible through:

• Training on income generating ideas
• Interventions during challenging times and for families at high risk
• Other forms of support to families and communities based on arising needs and societal emergencies

Some of these have been evident through:

Flood Intervention Program

1. Madini families: 12 households
2. Mutego Region: 100 households
3. Githembe Community: 55 households

Each of the households received a family pack including:

• Mattress
• Blankets
• Maize flour: 2 Kgs
• Beans: 2 Kgs
• Rice: 2 Kgs
• Cooking Oil: 2 litres

This support helped in easing the rebuilding process for all affected families.
